Condition of Vintage Items
Most of the items that we sell at Mabel & Rose are genuine vintage and they will inevitably show the signs of wear and tear you’d expect from something old and pre-owned. It’s this careworn vintage feel that gives the items we’re selling their unique charm – please don’t expect vintage items to look brand new!
We will always try to describe items as accurately as possible and what we consider to be a fault or damage will always be brought to your attention. Please take the time to study the photographs of our items carefully as these form part of the description and will often highlight areas of wear or damage that you should be aware of before making a purchase. If you have any specific questions about an item, then please get in touch before making your purchase and we will be happy to help.
We want our customers to be happy with their purchases so please get in touch if there is a problem with your order. All goods sold at Mabel & Rose are covered by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, which allow for a seven day ‘cooling off’ period during which you may cancel your order (in writing) by sending us a letter, fax or e-mail at any time up to and including the seventh working day after the day on which you received your purchase.
Goods must be returned to Mabel & Rose within 14 days after date of receiving the item, for a full refund or exchange, provided that the goods are returned in the same condition they were sold, including all original packaging materials.
Whilst we are happy to refund items returned within 14 days we do not refund postage/delivery costs on items.
Damaged goods must be reported to Mabel & Rose within 24 hours of delivery of the goods. After this time we cannot accept responsibility for any damage reported.
