October Competition Winner

This months winner of the ‘Your Vintage Garden’ competition is James from Hampshire. We love the way James has created a stack of bushel boxes next to an old pine dresser, and filled them with cookery books and bottles of wine.
Since our online shop launched in April our vintage apple crates have been one of our best-sellers. Many of our customers are using these old wooden bushel boxes for storage – they’re a stylish and flexible alternative to modern “flat-pack” furniture and can be used on their sides or even screwed into the wall to create great rustic looking shelving units.
James will receive a £10 Mabel & Rose voucher to spend in our online store.

If you want to be really green then opt for environmentally friendly soy wax and rather than throwing the pot away once your candle has burned down, you can wash it out with soap and water and reuse it again in the garden.

The latest winner of our monthly ‘Your Vintage Garden’ competition is David from Glasgow. He’s added some castor wheels to some of our rustic apple crates and used them as unique storage under a beautiful antique church pew. David wins a £10 voucher to spend in our online store.

Your Vintage Garden Competition

We hear so many great ideas from our customers about how they’re using the items they’ve bought from us, that we’ve decided to set up a monthly competition in order to share your style inspiration on our blog pages.
Send us Your Vintage Garden Photos
Each month for the rest of the year we’ll be awarding a £10 voucher to the customer who sends in a photo of the most interesting use of an item purchased from Mabel & Rose. The winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges and shown in the Your Vintage Garden section of our blog every month.
How To Enter
It’s simple – just take a photo of how you’ve used an item you’ve purchased from our online shop and email it to competitions@mabelandrose.com.
It could be a photo showing how you’ve planted up a vintage container you’ve recently purchased from Mabel & Rose, or perhaps how you’re using one of our products to decorate your home or garden. Your creativity is your limit!
The start date and end date for each monthly competition will be the first and last date of that month. You’ll be entered into the competition for the month during which your photo entry is submitted. The winning entry for each month will be announced in the Your Vintage Garden section of the blog at the beginning of the following month.

Competition Rules
1. All competition photo entries must include an item purchased from Mabel & Rose.
2. There is no limit to the number of photos an entrant can submit to the competition.
3. The start date and end date for each monthly competition will be the first and last date of that month. You’ll be entered into the competition for the month during which your photo entry is submitted.
4. The winning entry for each month will be announced in the Your Vintage Garden section of the blog at the beginning of the following month.
5. Each month the winning entry will be chosen by a panel of judges (including at least one member not associated with Mabel & Rose). The winning entry for each month will be announced in the Your Vintage Garden section of the blog at the beginning of the following month.
6. By submitting a photo into this competition the entrant is giving Mabel & Rose permission to display the photograph on our website. Copyright in all photos submitted for this competition remains with the respective entrants. Photos submitted will never be used for anything unconnected to this specific competition without written permission from the photographer.
